A woman gave birth to her child on the stairs of the Lady Willingdon Hospital on Tuesday after she was refused admission in the hospital.
According to reports, a resident of Sharaqpur by the name of Reshma Bibi gave birth after visiting Emergency Ward and Gynecology Ward of the hospital for two hours. To her despair, no response was given from the doctors due to which she gave birth to the child on the stairs.
After reports of the incident flashed on TV screens, hospital authorities decided to admit the baby into child nursery and the woman to a ward.
