Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said on Monday that all projects under the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) will be completed within the stipulated time.
Chairing a meeting to review the progress on the CPEC related projects, he said that China is a very close friend to Pakistan besides being a strategic partner.
Minister for Planning and Development Ahsan Iqbal gave a detailed briefing to the prime minister on the status of CPEC projects during the meeting.
The prime minister directed the Interior Ministry to beef up security for the Chinese workers associated with different projects in the country.
