Leah Remini called out Katie Holmes and her ex Tom Cruise for their over amorous PDA, and now she’s got an apology.

The King of Queens actress is set for a tell-all about the Church of Scientology in a 20/20 special, and in a teaser she revealed that she openly scolded Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes for getting touchy-feeling by telling them: “Hey get a friggin’ room”.

That apparently went down like a lead balloon.

Ray Donovan actress Katie refused to be filmed for the 20/20 documentary, but has released a statement apologising to Leah.

She said: “I regret having upset Leah in the past and wish her only the best in the future.”

Jennifer Lopez’s best pal Leah claimed that she was “written up” by Scientology folk after her comments to Tom and Katie.

They went on to get divorced in a shock split in 2012.

In the interview with ABC News’ Dan Harris, Leah claimed that criticising Tom Cruisewas frowned upon.

The actress opened up about her alleged experience with the organisation during a sit-down interview with 20/20, and she didn’t holding back.

In a preview for her chat with, she claimed: “Being critical of Tom Cruise is being critical of scientology itself. You are evil.”

The actress discusses her decision to leave the church, and she claimed it has been her “whole life”.

She added: “The decision to leave is you’re giving up everything you have worked for your whole life.

“I feel that people need to understand this has been my whole life and I want them to understand how it happens.”

Leah hinted she lost touch with reality, and opened up about her perception of the “mindset” of the church.

She said: “As time goes on, you start to lose touch with the real world. The mindset becomes us against them.”

The star cut all ties with the church back in 2013, and she will open up further in her tell-all book Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology.

Leah’s controversial book is set to reveal her alleged experiences with the church – and perhaps more worryingly for the church though it will look into the relationship she claims Tom Cruise has with it.

In response to the book a spokesperson for the church said: “Given Leah Remini’s insatiable desire for attention, it comes as no surprise that for two years she’s been incapable of moving on with her life and is obsessed with shamelessly exploiting her former religion in a pathetic attempt at publicity.”
