24 new Dengue cases emerge in Rawalpindi, six in Multan

The number of dengue cases has reached 2900 on Thursday. According to health department sources, 24 more dengue-hit patients have been admitted to hospitals in the past 24 hours.

Due to the daily increase in patients, beds in hospital wards have fallen short. Patients admitted in metropolis hospitals include a large number of women and children.

Chief Secretary Punjab Khizar Hayat Gondal has ordered daily dengue sprays in various parts of the city to halt further growth of dengue mosquitoes. He said that a complete precautionary strategy would be adopted in this regard

The second most affected city in Pakistan by Dengue is Multan where 6 more dengue patients were admitted in hospitals in the past 24 hours with a total toll of 302 patients in the city.
