A man allegedly threw acid on a woman within the Sadiqabad Police Station’s jurisdiction on Tuesday.
Police sources said that Nazia, a resident of Sadiqabad, was returning home with her daughter from her daughter’s school when Zubair, a resident of same locality, appeared and threw acid on her face before fleeing the scene. Nazia sustained serious injuries and was rushed to Holy Family hospital where according to medics her condition is critical. The police have registered a case and started the investigation. However, the police have not made any arrests till the filling of this report.
