Masses fed up with politics of confrontation: Shahbaz Sharif

Chief Minister Punjab, Shahbaz Sharif has said that masses are fed up with politics of confrontation and they only want resolution of problems faced by them.

Talking to a delegation of office bearers of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) who called on him here on Sunday, Shahbaz Sharif was of the view that masses have rejected the so-called political leaders who are creating hurdles in the projects aimed at uplifting the standard of common man and development of the country.

He said that economic stability, curbing menace of terrorism and extremism, poverty alleviation and overcoming the energy crisis were the top most priorities of the PML-N led federal and Punjab governments.

The CM Punjab said that those criticizing the projects like Metro Bus were not sincere with the people who were drawing benefits of the said public development projects. He said that masses have rejected politicians engaged in protests instead of taking steps to resolve problems faced by them to bring betterment in their lives.

Shahbaz said that a remarkable development has been witnessed in two and a half year tenure of his party. Economic stability has been achieved besides attracting local and foreign investors by regaining their lost trust, he added.
