15-year student injured in Multan expires during treatment

A teenager matriculation student who was injured in firing of unidentified armed men expired during treatment in hospital on Friday.

According to details, unknown armed men shot and injured 15-year-old Ameer Hamza, a student of Government Boys High School Taraggar, Multan a couple of days ago.
He was shifted to hospital in critical condition where he remained under intense care and despite all out efforts of medics breathed his last on Friday afternoon.
Heirs of the deceased with dead body held protest by blocking the road. They chanted slogans against police for failure to provide protection to public lives and properties. They demanded of the authorities to bring the culprits to book and awarding exemplary punishment to them.
The police officials visited the protestors and assured of arresting the murderers after which they dispersed peacefully.
