A 45-year-old man was killed by unknown assailants within the Waris Khan Police jurisdiction on Wednesday.
According to the police, unidentified persons turned up at Zaheer Khan’s house in Dhoke Khaba and asked him to come out. As soon as he stepped out of the house, the ambushed assailants opened fire on him and injured him fatally before fleeing the scene. Khan was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead by doctors on arrival.
The deceased was a resident of Attock. The police have registered a case and started investigation.
