The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) foiled a terror bid and arrested two hardcore terrorists, recovered arms and hand grenades from their possession here on Wednesday.
According to details, the CTD launched operation in Phase VII of Hayatabad during which two most wanted terrorists were apprehended.
The CTD recovered the locally manufactured bombs, four hand grenades, two pistols, hundreds of rounds and walkie talkie from their possession.
The detained terrorists were involved in more than 20 terrorist attacks on Imamia Mosque, police and security forces, murder of SHO Nasir Bagh and other crimes.
The nabbed terrorists have been shifted to undisclosed location for further interrogation and more important revelations were expected.
