Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has taken notice of its candidates’ defeat and poor performance in by-polls in NA-122 and PP-147 constituencies.
According to a senior PPP leader, Bilawal has sought a report from the PPP Punjab leadership after PPP candidates Amir Hasan and Iftikhar Shahid faced a crushing defeat at the hands of Pakistan Tehreek Insaf and PML-N candidates in the two constituencies.
The PPP leader said that Bilawal had also summoned the PPP Punjab leadership and Lahore chapter leadership to discuss the party’s poor performance in the by-elections and to thrash out a future to give a new mooring to the party.
