A youth was allegedly tortured to death by a landlord over theft charges in Kabirwala Town of Khanewal district on Tuesday.
According to police officials, the incident took place in Kund Sargana area, where a local landlord tortured a youth to death over theft allegations at his residence.
After the incident, local people staged a protest against the landlord. However, the accused fled the area to avoid his arrest. A case has been registered and police are investigating.
