Hundreds of thousands of citizens thronged parks and other recreational spots on the second day of Eid on Saturday.
Lahorites are famous for celebrating every gala and festivity with great enthusiasm and excitement and this time they also maintained their tradition. There was a great rush in parks including Bagh-e-Jinnah, Race Course, Lahore Zoo, Sozo Water Park, Jallo Park, Gulshan-e-Iqbal Park, Shalamar Bagh, Minar-e-Pakistan, Lahore Fort, Badshahi Mosque, Model Town Park, Fortress Stadium, Joyland, Bara Darri, Shahdra Park and Noor Jahan tomb, Funland, cinema halls and others picnic spots.

Keeping alive the Sunnat-e-Ibrahimi, the Muslims sarcifice animals on three days of Eidul Azha (from Zilhaj 10 to 12).
After having variety of cuisine at their homes on the first day, the Lahorites visited their near and dear ones on the second day of Eid to add to the festivity. Many families proceeded to recreational spots to enjoy meal and have fun.
Talking to this news agency, most of the picnickers at Bagh-e-Jinnah said they had been busy in performing Sunnat-e-Ibrahimi on the first day of Eid and today (Saturday) they took out time for recreation.
Keeping in view the past experiences, the Lahore Zoo administration had made elaborate arrangements to facilitate visitors. As security was beefed up on direction of Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif, no unwanted incident occurred in the provincial capital on first two days of Eidul Azha.
Traffic police had also deputed additional wardens at all major junctions and signals in the city to ensure smooth flow of traffic during Eid days.
