20 Afghans among 71suspects arrested in Islamabad operation

The law enforcement agencies on Thursday detained more then 70 suspects including 20 Afghan citizens in search operations around the Parliament House, Benazir International Airport and other parts of the federal capital.

The operation was conducted in adjoining areas of President House, Parliament, adjacent area of Benazir International Airportand Golra during which as many as 140 houses were searched while security personnel also interrogated from 940 people.

The Rangers, Police and other law enforcement agencies personnel launched search operations detained 70 suspected persons including 20 Afghan nationals.

The law enforcers recovered illegal arms including sub-machine guns (SMGs), rifle, 9mm pistol and hundreds rounds from the possession of arrested men.

Seven stolen motorbikes were also recovered in search raids.

Federal capital authorities have stepped up security in Islamabad and adjoining areas on the occasion of Eidul Azha due to security concerns.

  1. You deport Afghans back crime rate will go down otherwise this lawless people will bring more crimes to Pakistan. In German they sell drugs and smuggle people with drugs money they do not obey german law.
    They laugh about german law and cheat police. And stupied politicians do no care.
