Eid-ul-Azha, is being celebrated in Saudi Arabia and other gulf states.

Major Eid congregations were held in the holy mosques Masjid-ul-Haram and Masjid-e-Nabvi. Large number of Muslims attended the Eid prayers, where Imam of the holy Grand Mosque stressed on unity among the Muslims.

Special prayers were offered for the unity among the Muslim Ummah and peace in the world.

Muslims living in United States, Europe and Middle East will also celebrate Eid today.

Eid-ul-Azha is the muslim feast that concludes the Hajj (Pilgrimage to Mecca). It lasts for three days and commemorates Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to obey God by sacrificing his son.
