District and Sessions Judge Lahore Bahadar Ali Khan on Wednesday granted bail to 173 under trial prisoners of Camp Jail involved in petty offenses ahead of Eidul-Azha.
Summary trial was conducted within the prison’s premises and those deemed entitled were given bail relief to celebrate Eid with their families.
Later, the judge visited the kitchens, juvenile ward, hospital etc of the jail and expressed satisfaction over the arrangements. He praised Senior Superintendent Jail Shahram Tauqir Khan for beefed up security inside and around the prison.
