Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday summoned final reply from federation in increased surcharge on electricity bill case till September 28.
During the hearing, the counsel told the court that federal government has imposed illegal surcharge on power increasing its cost. He alleged that the government has implemented the decision without getting approval from National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA) therefore, the court should annul this act.
The court annoyed over federation, directed it to submit reply till September 28.
