As many as three Eid special trains on Tuesday left from Karachi for upcountry while carrying passengers desirous to celebrate Eid with their families.
The first train departed at 11am from Karachi Cantt Railway Station, second train departed for Rawalpindi at 2 pm while the third one left in the evening. According to local administration, each train has 12 bogies which were booked to capacity.
Meanwhile, the passengers have demanded immediate slash in fares so that they can easily travel to their homes for Eid celebrations.
