At least five suspects were detained during a search operation at different hostels and seminaries on Wednesday.
According to reports, a heavy contingent of police along with sensitive agencies searched six different hostels including Madarsa Usmania Ghani and Muhammadi Hostel in Ali Town and detained three suspects.
Police said a couple of seminary students were also among those arrested.
In a separate action, police detained two more suspects and recovered banned literature from them during a search operation in Nawab Town.
