The district administration in Gujranwala has sealed more than fifteen schools for non-payment of commercialization fee.
The district administration had imposed 10% commercial tax on the schools but the school owners refused to pay the tax, stating that most of the buildings are rented and only owners of these buildings are liable to pay this tax.
On the other hand, teachers took classes on the roadside and the students had to sit under the scorching sun.
