Corruption case registered against TMO Rawal town, 5 others

The Anti Corruption Department has registered a case against six senior officers including Tehsil Municipal Officer (TMO) Rawal town, for causing heavy financial losses to the national kitty by issuing tenders against rules and regulations.  

One Imtiaz Ahmad filed an application with the Anti Corruption Director Malik Tariq Rahim stating that he is a government contractor and TMA has issued a tender of Rs 39 million for the construction of offices without abiding by rules and regulations. Its rate was also fixed higher than necessary, he added

Rahim directed the assistant director technical to hold an inquiry into the matter.  As per the inquiry report, TMO Rawal town Sardar Tashfin, TOI and S Wasiq Ullah Qureshi, ATO Nadim Feroze, TOF Raja Iftikhar, DTO Muhammad Iqbal, sub engineer Mirza Zulfiqar and Superintendent I and E Inayat Hussain were held responsible. The anti corruption director ordered for registration of cases against them besides nominating inspector Umair Abbas as the investigation officer.

Police has registered cases against them and started conducting raids for their arrest.

  1. Corruption is killing lives look at NADRA faked ID cards, terrorists using faked ID cards have killed thousands of people. Why Pakistan can’t do better where is the pakistani state protecting his people.
