The driver of late social activist Sabeen Mahmood was killed when some unidentified armed assailants opened fire in Haideri area on Tuesday.
As per details, some unknown armed men opened firing in Korangi Ibrahim Haideri area, killing the driver of the late social activist Sabeen Mahmood, Ghulam Abbas.
The deceased was an employee of the anti-corruption department. The police were investigating the matter. In another incident, a man was killed and two others injured over resistance in dacoity in Manghupir Mianwali colony. The motorcyclists were looting citizens when they opened firing on offering resistance and injured three people.
The injured men were shifted to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. Later, one of the injured succumbed to injuries and two others were said to be in critical condition. Police cordoned off the area and started search operation.
