PAF foiled enemy’s nefarious designs in 1965 war: Air chief

Air Chief Air Marshal Sohail Aman has said that the PAF foiled nefarious designs of the enemy in 1965 war and its pilots destroyed strategic points of the enemy which broke its back bone.

Addressing a special ceremony at PAFMuseum in Karachi on Monday, the air chief said the PAF was playing a vital role in the ongoing operation Zarb-e Azb to wipe out terrorists. He said the character of their heroes was a role model for their youths to follow.

The air chief expressed satisfaction on the results of operation Zarb-e-Azb. He said the PAF had been fully cooperating with the Army in carrying out operations against terrorists. Air Chief Sohail Aman said the country would be purged of the menace of terrorism after the completion of operation Zarb-e-Azb.

He said the PAF was capable of dealing with the enemy and all sorts of threats. Earlier, the air chief inaugurated the monument of martyrs and laid floral wreath on the monument of martyrs and offered fateha.
