Saad Rafiq meets PM discusses bye elections in Lahore

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz leader and Federal Minister for Railways Khawaja Saad Rafiq called on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Islamabad on Monday.

Reports said they discussed over all political situation, Election Tribunals decisions and local government elections.

Matters relating to NA-125 constituency have also come under discussion. Sources said that Saad Rafiq offered to withdraw petition from the Apex Court and take part in the by-elections to give a tough fight to PTI that is claiming victory after the verdicts of the election tribunals.

The prime minister on the occasion said that they have already succeeded in the people’s court in Haripur and they will now succeed in Lahore too. He said that the people know who are creating hurdles for the development.

Nawaz Sharif said that threatening state institution is shocking, adding that they will take decisions within the law.
