The return of Temporarily Displaced Persons (TDPs) of Sararogha, Sarwakai and Tiarza Tehsils of South Waziristan Agency to their homes began on Monday.
Sources of FATA Disaster Management Authority said that the 12th phase of the return of TDPs of these tehsils will be completed by 23rd of next month.
The federal government is providing thirty five thousand rupees and six months ration to every returning TDPs family.
About four lac people were dislocated after the Pakistan Army launched Operation Rah-e-Nijat in October, 2009 and they took shelter in Tank, Dera Ismail Khan and other areas of Khyber Pakhtoonkhwa. Of them, more than 16,700 families have returned to their homes.
