Provincial Minister for Health Jam Mehtab Hussain Dahar, while thanking the Iranian government for building five hospitals in flood-affected areas of Sindh province for mothers and children care, has termed the signing of MOU between the Sindh and Iranian governments a milestone in the history of both countries.
In a statement issued on Thursday, he said the Iranian government was building five hospitals in 2010 flood affected areas, Khairpur, Badin, Thatta, Shaheed Benazirabad and Larkana which would benefit mothers and children.
The minister added that 40-bed hospital at Khairpur had been inaugurated while hospitals in Badin, Thatta, Shaheed Benazirabad and Larkana were nearly in completion. This action of the Iranian government would improve brotherly relations between the people of Sindh and Iran, he concluded.
