The Lahore High Court (LHC) on Wednesday declared the verdict of district election commission regarding delimitation as null and void.
During the hearing, petitioner’s counsel alleged that the commission has not decided the Lahore union councils (UCs) on merit for local bodies election therefore, he appealed to nullify the list of delimitations.
Replying to the allegations the election commission stated that the accusations are false.
Subsequently, the court has annulled the decision and sent back to commission for alteration.
