Citizens have been deprived of cash, cell-phones and other valuables costing million of rupees in different areas of Islamabad during the last 24 hours.
Dr Qasier Abbass, a resident of Ramna, lodged a complaint with the local police that unidentified thieves entered his house while the family was out and made away with jewelry worth thousands of rupees and three laptops.
In another incident, Javed Iqbal, a resident of Shams Colony, lodged a complaint with the police that three armed men entered his house, held family hostage at gunpoint and looted Rs 40,000 cash, three cell phones and jewelry worth thousands of rupees.
Meanwhile, Mohammad Ibrahim, a resident of Khana, lodged a case with the local police that his motor cycle (CHL-1694) has been stolen from a parking lot in Burma Town.
