EFU Life Assurance Ltd and Askari Bank Ltd – Islamic Banking Services have entered into a distribution alliance for EFU Life’s Window Family Takaful Products under a dedicated brand “Hemayah”.Askari Bank Limited is a leading commercial bank of Pakistan with a fast growing Islamic Banking network. EFU Life is a leading life insurance company in Pakistan and is the first Window Family Takaful Operator licensed by SECP.
The signing ceremony was held at Askari Bank Ltd – Islamic banking services Head Office in Lahore and the agreement was signed by Mr. Mohammed Ali Ahmed, Chief Strategy Officer & Executive Director EFU Life and Mr. Fahd Sardar Khan, Country Head- Askari Bank Islamic Banking. The ceremony was also attended by senior officials of both organizations.

I feel sorry for Askari Bank to enter in an alliance with the despicable EFU, a black spot on Insurance industry. It has all the evils that have corrupted our society, perhaps more. Askari Bank has lost ground with this event.
