There is no room for terrorism and extremism in Pakistan and all out measures would be taken to root out the menace from the country, said Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif while addressing a high level meeting on Tuesday.
The meeting reviewed law and order situation and implementation on the National Action Plan (NAP) while it was also decided to further accelerate the operation against terrorists and their facilitators.
Shehbaz said that the NAP is a joint national strategy against terrorists and their facilitators and it is being effectively implemented in Punjab. He said that police and law enforcement agencies should spare no effort for eliminating the elements involved in terrorism besides their facilitators. He said that all out measures should be taken for the protection of life and property of citizens.
The chief minister said that the plan reflects determination of the nation to root out terrorism. He said that there is a need for unity and courage to rid the country of the menace of terrorism. He said that the nation has united to completely eradicate terrorism.
