Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Monday told his ministers to stop giving irresponsible statements.
In a high-level meeting headed by Prime Minister Sharif, it was decided that no minister will be allowed to give any irresponsible statements. Federal ministers Ishaq Dar, Chaudhry Nisar, Pervaiz Rashid, Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz and Special Adviser Tariq Fatemi attended the meeting.
The meeting discussed the security situation of the country, Pakistan-India relations and National Action Plan. According to sources, the issue of Senator Mushahidullah’s interview with British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) was also discussed in the meeting and the effects of his resignation on civil-military relations were also deliberated upon.
