CM bashes PTI, PAT for sabotaging previous Independence Day

During the Independence Day function on Friday at Hazoori Bagh, Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif strongly criticised the sit-ins last year and described it a conspiracy to destroy national unity and create hurdles in the process of development of the country. 

He said that it is unfortunate that some elements tried to divide the nation on the Independence Day last year.
The chief minister also criticized the investors making investment in foreign countries and said that those investors who earned billions of rupees from Pakistan are investing in foreign countries when there is serious shortage of electricity in the country and investment in energy projects is required.
He asked the investors to make investment in Pakistan as its people need electricity.
The chief minister, while recording his impressions in the visitor’s book, observed that the nation has to adopt the golden principle of honesty and hard work and follow the ideals of Quaid-e-Azam and Allama Iqbal for achieving our objectives.
He took oath along with the scouts present in the ceremony. He also sang national songs with special children and students of schools and shook hands with them.
