United International Group Chairman Mian Shahid on Sunday said Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif has become most respected and popular personality in Pakistan due to his initiatives which will ensure rapid social and economic development across the country.
Law and order situation in Karachi, Peshawar, Quetta and other areas of the country is improving while terrorists are on the run, he said.
Islamabad Women’s Chamber of Commerce and Industry Founder President Samina Fazil he said that Gen Sharif is also loved by Pakistanis working abroad which could have an effect on the volume of remittances which are necessary for country’s survival.
