KARACHI: Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif on Sunday said that Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain’s tirade against the army proved that he is “working for the enemies of Pakistan”, reported local media sources.

Shahbaz added that ‘so-called leaders’ who call out to India await an “exemplary end”.

The CM also said that Hussain’s hue and cry over the issue proved the Rangers had taken the right steps in Karachi.

On Saturday, Altaf Hussain, while addressing the 19th worker’s convention in Dallas, asked MQM activists to approach the United Nations and Nato headquarters in the United States and “inform them of human rights abuses against the muhajir community”, according to a statement on the MQM website, reportedly.

  1. custodian of Pakistan speaking…when workers are kidnapped, torture and there is extra-judicial killing of its workers, when medical treatment are denied ,when appeal to COAS is consider as hate speech, fake FIR and cases are registered, when justice is denied by judiciary and there is media trail ….when all doors are closed, there it has no alternative…..party has to appeal for insaaf to the world body

    • MQM and Altaf Hussain have fallen in to the trap of Jardari and Nawaz Sheriff. It seems for Mohajirs, the road is closed. Either they need to fall in line or find their own way , may be -going back to, from where they came from-Bihar and UP.

  2. what is the crime ratio now in Karachi, its means something wrong within the parties especially with MQM.Their should be free and fair trial of the criminals.
