KARACHI: An antiterrorism court on Saturday allowed the police to grill three suspects allegedly involved in the Safoora bus carnage in another case pertaining to a suicide attack on the convoy of a senior Rangers official, according to local media sources.

The investigation officer of the case filed an application before the ATC-I stating that the three suspects — Tahir Hussain Minhas alias Sain, Saad Aziz alias Tin Tin alias John and Mohammad Azhar Ishrat alias Majid — were also required for questioning in the case pertaining to a suicide attack on the convoy of a sector commander of Rangers in February last year near Qayyumabad.

The IO further submitted that the suspects had already been remanded in judicial custody and asked the court to issue a no-objection certificate to allow the police to question them, reportedly.
