England and Whales Cricket Board (ECB) on Wednesday has filed a petition against Pakistan leg-spinner Danish Kaneria in Sindh High Court (SHC) in spot-fixing case, a news channel reported.
As per details, the plea was registered by Barrister Khawaja Naveed in which the board has demanded to seize property of the accused and sought fine of £ 2,49000.
Pakistani player has already bore sentence in a case filed by ECB.
Earlier, Kaneria was banned by ECB in June, 2012 after he was found guilty of corruption while playing with Essex in 2009. The ECB imposed a lifetime ban and costs of £100,000 on Kaneria. He appealed against the conviction but that was dismissed.
