AJK Prime Minister Chaudhry Abdul Majid while condemning unprovoked shelling by Indian Border Security Forces along the working boundary has urged the UN to stop India from pursuing aggressive agenda.

While expressing his profound sympathy with families of those killed by Indian shelling, the AJK prime minister demanded that the UN make its monitoring system more effective on the working boundary, said a statement issued on Friday.

He said that a government of extremists was in place in India and it was pursuing an aggressive agenda. “Indian rulers have consistently usurped the rights of people of Jammu and Kashmir through state coercion and now they are targeting the civilian population along the working boundary and LoC,” said Majid.

He underlined that Indian aggressive acts and expansionist designs have put the peace of the region at stake.”The peace-loving world should stop India from indulging in aggressive acts for the sake of peace in the sub-continent,” he said.

The AJK prime minister said that Indian rulers would not succeed in suppressing the Kashmiris through third rate acts.

He went on to say that Pakistan was destination of the people of Kashmir and the people of Kashmir would thwart all nefarious designs and conspiracies of India against Pakistan.
