LAHORE:
Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf Chairman Imran Khan has stated that Shaukat Khanum Memorical Cancer Hospital (SKMCH) will be opened in Peshawar in December this year.
He said that the hospitals in Lahore and Peshawar were a tribute to the generosity of Pakistanis.
Speaking at an aftar dinner at SKMCH in Lahore on Sunday, Imran Khan stated that Rs95 million had been collected at the fundraiser dinner.
He also said at a dinner on the first of Ramazan, the hospital had collected Rs75 million.
The fundraising was attended by a large number of philanthropists, who expressed confidence in its transparent utilisation.
