DG KHAN:
Gunmen shot a policeman guarding an Ahmadi place of worship in Tounsa on Saturday, also taking away the official’s weapon. The incident took place outside Ahmadia Baitus Salat, College Road.
Irshad Hussain was taken to Tehsil Hospital Tounsa and then rushed to Nishtar hospital in Multan.
“Police have registered a case with clauses of terrorism,” said an official, adding that police have rejected the possibility of any personal feud.
A joint investigation team headed by DSP Tounsa Muhammad Saleem Khan Niazi was sent to probe the incident.
