Witnesses identify accused involved in MQM worker Waqas Shah’s murder
Two eye-witnesses have identified suspect Syed Asif Ali who is allegedly involved in murder of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) worker Waqas Shah.
The accused was presented in the court of Judicial Magistrate Central for identification.
Waqas Shah was shot dead on March 11 when angry MQM workers gathered outside Nine-Zero to protest against Rangers raid on their party`s headquarter.
During investigation of the case, the suspect had revealed that he hid the weapon near a nullah in Yasinabad before fleeing to Shahdadpur. Asif is now in police custody on physical remand till July 13.
