ISLAMABAD:

The Islamabad High Court (IHC) adjourned the proceedings in petitions filed by three co-accused with Gen Pervez Musharraf on Tuesday, challenging their implication in the high treason case, according to reports.

The special court on November 21, 2014, while deciding the application of former president Gen Musharraf against his ‘solo trial’ in the treason case, ordered the federal government to include former prime minister Shaukat Aziz, former minister Zahid Hamid and former chief justice of the Supreme Court Abdul Hameed Dogar as abettors in treason case.

The three-judge special court in December last year stopped the proceedings against Gen Musharraf after the alleged abettors challenged its order in the Islamabad High Court.
