Pakistan heaved a sigh of relief when tennis hero Aisam ul Haq confirmed his availability to compete in the upcoming Davis Cup Asia Oceania zone group two second round tie against Indonesia from July 14-16.
“Aisam has recovered from his knee injury and was competing at the Wimbledon,” his doubles partner Aqeel Khan told a private media outlet.
Aisam will reach Jakarta from London directly to feature in the contest, Aqeel added. He said another player Samir Iftikhar will also come to Jakarta from the US.
