Federal Minister for Defence and Water and Power Khawaja Muhammad Asif has said the government was making all out efforts to bring betterment in demand and supply system of electricity to ensure the minimum load shedding of electricity during the Holy month of Ramzan.
He said every passing day was taking Pakistan towards the goal of end of the energy crisis, adding that energy crisis would be ended within the next two years. He stated this while talking to the party workers at Sialkot on Sunday.
He urged the people to give up the unnecessary use of electricity and not to use the air conditioners (ACs) during the timings of the prayers. However, they should use ACs during the Traaveeh Prayers. He said that this direly needed step would help to save 4,000 to 5,000 megawatts electricity.
