At least 10 suspects were arrested during a joint search operation carried out by police and intelligence agencies in Raiwind on the outskirts of the Punjab capital in the early hours of Saturday.
The operation was headed by Superintendent-Police (SP) Sadar Division Zahir Marwat. Railway bogies stationed at the Raiwind Railway Station were also searched during the raid.
The search operation was carried out following issuance of a security alert by intelligence agencies.
A suicide bomber had blown himself up and three others were killed in a similar joint operation in Rachna Town and Khan Colony near Grand Trunk (GT) Road earlier in the week.
