LAHORE:

The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) has announced to hold protests across Punjab against load-shedding in the province, according to a local media outlet’s report.

“Province-wide protests will start from Friday (June 26) in which party workers will stage demonstrations outside press clubs in every district of the province,” said PPP Punjab leader Manzoor Wattoo on Wednesday.

“The government has completely failed to control the on-going power crisis in the country,” he added.

He went on to add that scores of people were killed during the current heat wave but the government was not paying serious attention to ease out the sufferings of the people.

  1. "Langree Lulee " PPP and corrupt leadership along with Ali Baba and 40 thieves has got some burning issues. OK! Central Government could not hold promise about electricity but when people are dying of heat stroke how many camps have established in Karachi and Sindh to help the people in this difficult time. It's not earth quake or a natural disaster where every thing is destroyed. One only needs a few doctors. arrangement of water, ice and a generator. It does not cost much to help perhaps 400 millions rupees less or more. How active are you ?

MQM that can bring millions out to bring loss to economy during strike ? why you could not help your people through the billions you have got through black mailing and Bhutta by burning hundreds of workers in factories ?

Other political parties playing politics over dead bodies why not come out to help poor and sick people loosing their lives because of heat stroke ?
