Federal Minister for Information Senator Pervaiz Rashid said on Thursday that the government would not allow anyone to make the ongoing Karachi operation controversial.
“If someone commits the crime in the name of politics, he will also be taken to task,” he said while talking to a private news channel. He said that the security institutions were rendering sacrifices to make the environment in the city conducive to business and investment. He expressed confidence that the situation in the metropolis will soon normalize and people will be able to lead their lives in a peaceful manner.
Commenting on the apex committees constituted there, Rashid said that objective of the bodies was to discuss and exchange views on the security situation from time to time.
He further said that the government was moving in the right direction and the results of the operation would be completely achieved.
Replying to a question about the PTI chairman’s statement in which he declared 2015 as ‘election year’, Pervaiz Rashid remarked that all past claims of Imran Khan had been proved wrong and said that 2015 was in fact local government (LG) elections.
He also said that the next general elections would be held in the 2018 as per schedule.
The minister said that everyone had witnessed the way in which LG polls were held by Imran Khan in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP).
Dear Pakistan Army,
You are doing a great job to fight epidemic corruption
.
Please extend this operation to Punjab Secretariat as well. As per NFC award, the single biggest chunk of our budget goes to Punjab rightly on basis of higher population. Why there is no audit of this budget? The LDA building gets burned? Why there is no audit? Why it is ' halal' to do corruption in Punjab secretariat .
Mr.20 % Fawad Hasan Fawad is openly demanding 20 % and why there is no audit?
If this operation extends to Punjab secretariat as well, our army chiefwill become greatest army chief in short history of our country.
Pakistan Army Zindabad
At least PTI conducted LG elections. Where are yours?
