Corruption of 4 billion in allotment of plots in F-11 Islamabad

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) is preparing to allot 135 plots worth over Rs4 billion, in F-11 Islamabad to dubious affectees of Behka Syedan through illegal claim.

Sources said that CDA Member Planning Committee Waseem Ahmed Khan, after allegedly receiving kick-backs of Rs500 million, has played key role in approving the layout of F-11 despite lack of CDA board quorum.

It has also been learnt that property dealer Sajid has also allegedly been instrumental behind this illegal allotment of plots.

The sources said politicians, bureaucrats and property dealers have been trying to get embezzle he plots before the local government elections scheduled for July 27, as all assets of the CDA would be shifted to the LG government after polls.

CDA Board meeting approved the changes in the layout of F-11. : the summary of allotment of 135 plots worth Rs4 billion was also presented by the CDA Member Planning.

According to the sources, Sajid allegedly gave Rs500 million to CDA Member Planning as bribe because the plots had to be allotted to affected people of Bahka Sayedan, with whom the property dealer has already signed an agreement.

On being contacted, Deputy Director General Land and Estate Hamza Shafqat said that the claims given were not and had been due for a while for some time.

The so-called affectees to whom CDA is allotting plots have no land occupation. Sources revealed that Principal Secretary to Prime Minister Fawad Hassan Fawad is allegedly involved in this corruption which is causing huge losses to national exchequer.
