Former president and Pakistan People’s Party co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday condemned the killings of five policemen in Peshawar and Quetta at the hands of terrorists and urged both the provincial governments to jack up their efforts against terrorism.
In a press statement, Asif Ali Zardari said the police force was bravely fighting against these terrorists in their jurisdictions. Sacrifices of the law enforcement agencies, including police, would always be eulogised by the nation, he added.
He expressed sympathies with the victims and assured them that PPP leadership and workers would always stand in solidarity with them.
