Former president Pervez Musharraf has not appeared in court for the Ghazi Abdul Rashid murder case and the court has adjourned the hearing of the case till June 13, 2015, due to the lawyers’ strike.
Additional Sessions Judge Wajid Gillani on Monday took up for hearing the Ghazi Abdul Rashid murder case filed by the Lal Masjid Foundation against Pervez Musharraf.
Akhtar Shad, counsel for Pervez Musharraf, appeared in the court and said lawyers were observing strike therefore, the hearing of the case be adjourned.
The counsel for petitioner took the plea that the hearing of the case was continuing since October 2013, and the accused has not appeared in court even once.
The court adjourned the hearing of the case till June 13, 2015.
