GILGIT:
With deployment of military personnel for security duties, authorities have finalised arrangements to hold elections of Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly on Monday, according to local media sources.
Army personnel have been deployed in different areas and ballot papers have been distributed among Returning Officers (ROs).
The elections will be held on June 8 as tough competition is expected between candidates of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), Pakistan People Party (PPP) and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI).
