Information Minister Pervaiz Rashid has said that the government is working to address the problems faced by journalists on a priority basis.
Addressing a ceremony at National Press Club on Thursday, he said that the courts will decide the case of the Axact company.
However, he said the matters pertaining to the economic hardship that the employees of Bol News may face will be addressed in the next few days.
The minister urged media owners to nominate their representatives for the wage board otherwise it will be announced unilaterally. Referring to the challenges faced by the country, he said that the Pakistan of 2015 is much better than that of 2013. He urged the media to play its role to further bring improvement in the situation.
